RMA Flat Fee Policy
Havis® now offers a flat fee policy for the repair of equipment no longer under warranty. This fee covers all parts used in repairs, diagnosis of equipment, labor used in repair, and shipping costs for return of equipment to the Customer. The flat fee for discontinued docking stations and their derivative components is $199. The flat fee for docking stations and their derivative components currently in production is $99. The flat fee for all lighting is $150. Havis® reserves the right to change this policy at any time.
RMA 45-Day Policy
As of 6/1/09, any RMA item must be shipped to Havis® within (45) days of the RMA number being generated. If the unit(s) are not received by Havis® within that time, the RMA will be closed and a new RMA must be generated if the Customer still wishes to have the units repaired.
RMA 90 Day “Must Claim” Policy
After receipt of merchandise for repair, Havis will perform diagnostics to determine the cause of product failure, and required steps to repair. If it is determined the repairs are not covered by the warranty, Havis will repair and charge standard flat rate repair fees, unless
otherwise notified by customer. If a PO has not been provided for repair, a technician will contact the customer for billing information at least once every 30 days, using the contact information provided at creation of RMA. If no purchase order is received or no response from customer is received within 90 days of the issuance of the quote, Havis will consider the returned merchandise “abandoned” and reserves the right to dispose of the returned merchandise at it’s sole discretion.
RTS 45-Day Return Policy
Havis® offers the Customer the opportunity to return items for credit or replacement within the first (45) days from the date of shipment from HAVIS® . If the box has been opened, a restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from the credit amount. Any request made for the return of an item outside of the (45) day window will not be accepted.
When returning items, please ensure the equipment is packaged appropriately (as it was received) to ensure full credit is issued. All items being returned are subject to an inspection and may be accepted or rejected at the discretion of the inspector.
