If you haven’t had an opportunity to visit our redesigned website, I think you’ll find it more user-friendly than our previous design. Here are a couple of cool features that will help you spec products from www.Havis.com.

Light configurator
For existing customers, you’ll appreciate how easy it is now to configure our light poles. From the main menu choose “Products,” then “Emergency Scene Lighting.” Once you arrive at this page, select the “Lighting Configurator.”

Here you’ll be able to select the type of light head you need (Step 1), the type of pole assembly (Step 2) and any special options (Step 3). Once these selections have been made, scroll down and press the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page.

What you should now be viewing is a product page with your configured pole.

On this single page, you can now view:
          · A configured part # 
          · MSRP 
          · Install instructions 
          · A parts breakdown 
          · QuoteWriter .RTF specs 
          · And in many instances installed product photos

Vehicle type
For new customers, you may want to begin your search by selecting “Products,” then “Search by Vehicle Type/Make.” This method allows you to view image thumbnails of all available products for the type and make of vehicle you select.

Quick search
Say for example, you know the Havis part # and want to find out what the MSRP is. If you type the part # in the search box, located in the upper right hand corner, the website will return search results for all pages containing this part #.

Faces and names
Can’t remember the name of your Havis regional manager, but remember what he looks like? Visit “Partners” and select “Factory Sales Team” to view pictures and contact information for our entire sales team.

Unsure who your Havis Rep is? Visit "Partners" and select "Master Distributors & Sales Reps."  Select your state to view rep contact information.

As with any web site, we are constantly making changes. In the upcoming months, we’ll be adding an administrative area that will allow you to view and track shipments as well as view electronic billing statements. Until then, feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions you have.
