Here at Havis, we work hard, and we play hard. For the Havis golf team, “Curran’s Pub,” hard work certainly pays off. The team recently won its third Industrial Golf League Championship. The Industrial Golf League consists of 12 teams and over 120 players on the roster.
The Havis team meets Thursday nights for a nine-hole match play. Bob Campbell has been the most consistent and dedicated player since the beginning of the league — he is at every game, every week. John Curran acts as owner of the team.
Our CEO, Joe Bernert, began sponsoring the Industrial Golf League in 2004. Since then, Havis’ Curran’s Pub has only missed the playoffs one time, and has been in the Championship round six times, bringing home a total of three Championship titles.
