Mueller is North America’s largest supplier of potable water distribution products. After identifying some problems with the mobile technologies in place at its plant and warehouse in Tennessee, Mueller began researching ways to address the issues and hired computer-maker Dell for help.
Dell, in turn, relied on Havis’ computer docking and mounting solutions for the tablets it recommended for Mueller. Several rounds of testing showed that the tablets, mounts, and docks were all more than able to withstand the extreme heat, moisture, and vibration of the Mueller plant and warehouse.
As a result, Mueller reported an increase in shipping speeds and productivity.
