Just before the 4th of July, Cars.com announced that the Ford F-150 ranked #1 on its 2014 American-Made Index, which rates vehicles built and bought in the United States.
As 2013 comes to a close, we find ourselves looking forward to the new vehicles for the 2015 model year. Just this month, GM announced their upcoming four-wheel drive, pursuit-rated 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Patrol Vehicle (PPV).
According to a recent Detroit News article, police departments across the country are shifting their vehicle preference from sedan to SUV. Although sedans have been a police fleet standard for decades, newer SUVs are safer and offer more in-vehicle space and improved efficiency.
